Simply put, I love weddings and I love making things happen! So, in 2003 those two passions collided and produced Full Bloom Weddings & Events.
I realized I loved planning events when I was just a little tyke. I’d use any special occasion (and I do mean any) as an excuse to plan a dinner menu complete with décor, drinks and dessert, and invite people (my 2 sisters and my parents – and whoever else was up for being entertained) to come witness my masterpiece.
In 2003, with big dreams and high hopes (and admittedly a little inspiration from Jennifer Lopez’s role in The Wedding Planner), I jumped headfirst into the wedding industry and launched my own wedding business, Full Bloom Weddings & Events.

Planning an event as important as the day you commit and dedicate your life to another person, in front of the people you love in this world can be an emotional, vulnerable, stressful, overwhelming experience. To have someone on your team, to keep you prepared, on track and reminding you along the way to actually enjoy the experience, is a role I live to play for my clients and one that isn’t taken lightly.
At the end of the day, event planning, in any capacity, is a a vehicle for support when you need it most. An informed and professional “go to” person that you can count on that allows you to just be, and enjoy the unique moments of being an engaged couple. I believe those moments, days and months leading up to the wedding are the most precious moments in your relationship as you prepare to take the leap into marriage. Those moments are much more than finding vendors, timelines, budgets and cake… they are precious moments that you, as a couple, should savor.
That, is our job and what we aim for with each and everyone of our clients.
Seven years and scores of satisfied clients later, Full Bloom Weddings & Events is expanding, making 2011 an extremely exciting time. I’m a firm believer that all brides should have the benefit of a wedding planner… even if it’s just Day of management and coordination. So, my mission for 2011 and the years to come, is to make Full Bloom Weddings & Events a place where couples with a variety of budgets can enjoy the privilege of stress free wedding planning. To make this happen, I’ve put together a team of event planning rock stars that share my mission, passion and ideals for being the best thing our clients can do for their wedding!
